Product Description
Dengie Hi-Fi Molasses Free is a low-calorie, high-fibre feed designed for leisure horses and ponies requiring a low sugar and starch diet. This blend combines nutritious alfalfa with high-quality soft cereal straw, lightly coated with rapeseed oil to provide slow-release energy and enhance coat shine. The inclusion of real mint and fenugreek, along with alfalfa pellets, enhances palatability, making it ideal for fussy eaters.
Key Features:
- Provides 8.5 MJ/kg Digestible Energy, suitable for horses or ponies in light to medium work.
- Low in sugar (2.5%) and starch (1.5%), approximately one-fifth of the sugar found in average hay.
- Contains no added sugar, molasses, or preservatives.
- Approved by The Laminitis Trust, making it suitable for those prone to laminitis, Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS), or Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction (PPID).
- Can be used as a partial forage replacer.
