Returns Policy
Where do I return goods?
Please return authorised goods to:
Stow Agricultural Ltd
Eastgate House
Moreton Road
Longborough
GL56 0QJ
Before returning anything, please contact us by calling 01451 830400 or emailing [email protected]. This requirement does not affect your statutory rights.
Can I change my mind and return the goods I ordered?
If you are a consumer and purchased goods online, by telephone or by mail order, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
Unless the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, you will be responsible for the cost of returning them.
You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. However, we may deduct an amount from your refund if the value of the goods has been reduced because they have been handled more than necessary. Wherever possible, goods should be returned unused, complete and in their original packaging.
Once the goods have been returned, we will refund the amount due, including the cost of our standard delivery service. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, we will only refund the equivalent standard delivery charge. Refunds will normally be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back.
Certain products are excluded from cancellation rights, including:
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised
- Perishable goods
- Sealed software or digital media once unsealed
- Digital content where supply has begun with your prior consent and acknowledgement
- Sealed products that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once opened
Special-order items are subject to our separate Special Orders Policy. Whether a special-order item can be cancelled or returned will depend on that policy, the nature of the product and your statutory rights.
Restocking fee
Where we agree to accept the return of non-faulty goods as a discretionary return, we reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee. This may include returns made by business customers or returns accepted outside a consumer’s statutory cancellation period.
The restocking fee will not apply where:
- The goods are faulty
- The goods were damaged when supplied
- We supplied the incorrect goods
- A consumer exercises a valid statutory right to cancel a distance order within the applicable cancellation period
Any applicable restocking fee will be deducted from the refund or credit issued.
I have received the wrong goods. What should I do?
Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can arrange their return and send the correct goods.
Call 01451 830400 or email [email protected]. We will cover reasonable return costs where we have supplied the wrong goods.
Please keep the goods unused, complete and in their original packaging wherever reasonably possible.
We will usually send the correct item once the incorrect goods have been returned. If we agree to send a replacement before receiving them, the original goods must be returned within 14 days. If they are not returned, we reserve the right to charge for both items.
All goods remain the property of Stow Agricultural Ltd until paid for in full.
My goods have arrived damaged. What should I do?
Please inspect your goods carefully when they arrive. If there is visible damage, please tell the courier and record the damage on the delivery paperwork where possible.
Signing for a delivery does not affect your statutory rights, but reporting visible damage immediately helps us investigate the issue with the courier.
Please contact us as soon as possible by calling 01451 830400 or emailing [email protected]. Photographs of the goods, packaging and delivery label are extremely helpful.
We will arrange the return of goods damaged in transit and cover reasonable return costs.
We will usually send a replacement once the damaged goods have been returned. If we agree to send a replacement beforehand, the damaged goods must be returned within 14 days. If they are not returned, we reserve the right to charge for both items.
Please notify us of transit damage as soon as reasonably possible. Consumers may have a statutory right to reject damaged goods within 30 days, and additional rights may continue after this period.
I have received a faulty item. What should I do?
Call 01451 830400 or email [email protected].
Where an item is confirmed or reasonably believed to be faulty, we will arrange its return and cover reasonable return costs.
Consumers who notify us of a fault within 30 days of receiving the goods may have the right to reject them for a full refund. Depending on the circumstances, you may instead request a repair or replacement.
If a fault is reported after 30 days but within six months, we will normally offer a repair or replacement in accordance with your statutory rights. If this is unsuccessful or cannot reasonably be provided, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund.
Faults reported after six months will be considered in accordance with your statutory rights and any applicable product warranty. We may ask you to demonstrate that the fault existed when the goods were supplied.
If we send a replacement before receiving the faulty item, the original item must be returned within 14 days. If it is not returned, we reserve the right to charge for both items.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
