Product Description
Supaverm Oral Suspension is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic containing 5% w/v closantel and 7.5% w/v mebendazole, formulated for the treatment and control of liver fluke, gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, tapeworms, nasal bot fly larvae, and ticks in sheep and lambs. It is effective against both immature and mature stages of liver fluke and is active against benzimidazole-resistant strains of Haemonchus contortus.
Key Features:
- Contains 50 mg/ml closantel and 75 mg/ml mebendazole
- Effective against liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica), roundworms, lungworms, and tapeworms
- Controls nasal bot fly larvae (Oestrus ovis) and reduces tick viability
- Administered orally at a dose rate of 1 ml per 5 kg bodyweight
- Meat withdrawal period: 65 days
- Not permitted for use in ewes producing milk for human consumption, including during the dry period
