StowAg were proud to be sponsors of the Winchcombe Young Farmers Club at the annual Gloucestershire’s Young Farmers Pre Rally competitions day and continuing to Back British Farming. Members took part in stock judging, fence erecting, nature trails, bale pushing, soap box racing, woodwork, fancy dress, welding, first aid, tractor safety, auctioneering and valuation and farm business development competitions. Winchcombe Young Farmers club is a long-established club with over 40 members. Now in it’s 72nd year, the club is going from strength to strength and growing in numbers all the time. The club has members of all ages, from 10 to 26 and is a brilliant place to meet like-minded people and have a laugh. It was A real day of practical competitions for farming and non-farming members alike. With some of our members coming away with prize cards. One of the competitions is to erect a fence consisting of a length of stock fencing and a style on the end. Our Team made up by John Lewis, Ed Lanfear & Dan Lanfear came third in this - the fence erecting, which the materials were supplied by StowAg. Well done to everyone who took part and a huge congratulations to those who won prizes!
