The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) is back for 2025, offering vital support to farmers in England who are looking to invest in modern, efficient, and welfare-friendly equipment. Whether you’re focused on boosting productivity or improving animal welfare, FETF grants could be the helping hand you need this year.
In this guide, we break down the key information, who can apply, what’s covered, and how to access the FETF application portal.
What is the FETF grant?
The FETF grant is part of the Government’s Agricultural Transition Plan, designed to support English farmers as they move towards more sustainable and efficient farming practices. Between £1,000 and £25,000 will be available for grants. This is to allow farms to adopt modern equipment and technologies that contribute to improved farm performance and environmental outcomes.
Who can apply for FETF grants?
You can apply if you’re:
• A farmer, horticulturalist, or forestry owner in England
• A contractor working for farmers or growers
• Registered with the Rural Payments Agency (RPA)
Note: You must have a Single Business Identifier (SBI) number to apply.
