Portek Black Panther Bird Scaring ropes.
'Double Bang' daytime ropes - every 2nd bang is a double bang.
Each rope 100cm (39").
18 bangers per rope with approx 30 minute intervals between bangs = 6 hours approx burn time per rope.
12 ropes per box.

  • These powerful banger ropes should be handled with extreme care – always wear appropriate personal protective equipment when handling and lighting banger ropes.
  • Banger ropes are for professional use and are only intended for agricultural bird scaring in open fields, and must not be used as fireworks.
  • The banger rope is designed to burn for a period of approximately 5 – 6 hours for day ropes or up to 12 hours for continuation ropes.
  • Bangers are placed equal distances apart to explode at 15 – 30 minute intervals.
  • NEVER hang a banger rope where a member of the general public could tamper with it.
  • NEVER hang a banger rope on a public footpath or bridleway where the general public have a right of way.
  • Beware of neighbour’s livestock near the banger rope site.
  • Keep well away from flammable materials including flammable gases.
  • NEVER light the fuse of a banger.
  • DO NOT hold the rope during lighting or once it is alight.
  • DO NOT dismantle the rope or the bangers.
  • NEVER remove an individual banger off the rope.
  • NEVER relight a banger rope that has been extinguished.
  • Dispose in the recommended way – see below.
  • If a banger falls to the ground and has not exploded, do not try to re-ignite it. Any unexploded bangers should be left untouched for at least 6 hours, pick up with a pair of tongs. After which they should be soaked in a bucket of water for a minimum of 24 hours. Then dispose in normal refuse while still damp. NEVER relight a banger that has been soaked in water and subsequently dried out.
  • If a banger has come off the rope and is loose in the box
  • NEVER light it. It should be soaked in a bucket of water for 24 hours. Then dispose in normal refuse while still damp.
  • Always store in a cool dry place, well away from any source of ignition, flammable materials or other hazardous goods. A metal cabinet is ideal. Use within 5 years of purchase.
  • Not to be sold to, or used by persons under 18 years of age.

We are able to offer free delivery to anyone within 40 miles of Longborough, Gloucestershire, as well as being able to ship across the UK.

Free Local Delivery

We offer a free local delivery service to all our customers in the Costwolds and surrounding areas that are within 40 miles of our store. We use our own trucks with our friendly, knowlegeable drivers Paul and Richard.

Our free delivery service typically takes 3-5 days, but if you'd prefer a faster service please chose our paid next day courier service.

Don’t worry if you’re not local to us in the Cotswolds, we provide a next day delivery service wherever possible across the UK.

What will I be charged for shipping?

 Delivery charges are based on a combination of weight and area. Weights are based on the heavier of the actual or volumetric weight. Prices quoted below exclude VAT.

 UK mainland delivery starts at £6.67, rising to £30 for up to 60kg. Pallet deliveries range from £30 to £110 depending on your postcode.

Highlands and Islands delivery starts at £12.50 rising to £40 for 60kg. For larger orders and pallet loads you will need to contact us for a quote. The following postcodes and areas are considered to be Highlands and Islands:

AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, HS all postcodes, IV all postcodes, KA27-28, KW1-17, PA20-78, PH19-50, ZE1-3
Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles

Northern Ireland delivery starts at £20 rising to £60 for orders up to 60kg. Please contact us for a quote for larger or palletised orders.

Europe: Delivery within Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg and the Netherlands starts at £12.31. For larger orders or delivery elsewhere, you will be prompted to contact us for a quote.

Returns

What happens if I want to return the goods I have received, have received the wrong goods, or have received damaged goods?

Whilst every effort to ensure the products received are as you expect, we fully acknowledge that on occasion, this is not always the case.

If you receive the wrong product(s) or your goods are damaged when they are delivered, please let us know as soon as you can by calling us on 01451 830400 or email sales@stowag.com and we will be more than happy to provide a Returns Number.

Refunds policy

Your payment will be refunded in full, including basic shipping, once the goods have been returned. However, we may make a deduction from your refund if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling them more than was necessary. The extent to which a customer can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop – for example goods should be unused and in their original, unopened packaging.
